At Columbia Non-Profit Housing, we aim to create stable communities by providing affordable, decent and safe housing where low-income people including seniors, persons with disabilities and families have opportunities to grow and thrive. We work tirelessly to bridge the gap between limited resources and the increasing demand for affordable housing in Vancouver. Our properties and waitlists are managed by Vancouver Housing Authority.
With our focus on building affordable housing properties across Vancouver, we strive to ensure that everyone, regardless of their income level, has access to safe and healthy homes. We understand the profound impact that housing stability has on individuals and communities. We are committed to breaking the cycle of poverty and homelessness by offering a range of housing options. Meriwether Place is a 30-unit permanent supportive housing development in central Vancouver for people exiting homelessness. To apply for a studio apartment at Meriwether Place, applicants must be homeless and in need of behavioral health services through Lifeline Connections or Community Services Northwest. Rhododendron Place is a 30-unit permanent supportive housing apartment building in Hazel Dell for people exiting homelessness. Rents are based on 35% of the household’s income.
